RusAutoNewsCom.- Vehicle production in Russia has increased by 2.8% year-on-year in 2019. According to ASM Holding data 1,719,784 transport vehicles (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses) have been manufactured in the country.
Passenger car production has decreased by 2.6% during the aforementioned period, with 1.52 million units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia went down by 3.1% to 1.1 million vehicles.
LCV output has also decreased in the same period by 5.3% to 118.5 thousand units.
Truck production, including light trucks, has declined by 0.9% in 2019, amounting to 155.3 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia went up by 4% year-on-year and amounted to 28.1 thousand units.
Bus production, including minibuses, has increased by 14.8% during the aforementioned period, with 41.2 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia has declined by 8.8% to 8.1 thousand vehicles.
