Vehicle production has decreased by 35% within the first five months

RusAutoNewsCom.- Vehicle production in Russia has been decreased by 35.4% year-on-year within the first five months of 2020. According to ASM Holding data 460,762 units transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured within the January-May period of 2020.

Passenger cars production has decreased by 37.1% year-on-year during the aforementioned period, to 405.7 thousand units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia went down by 36.4% to 300.1 thousand vehicles.

Light commercial vehicle production has also declined in the same period, by 28.9% to 30.0 thousand units.

Trucks output, including light trucks, has fallen by 21.7% by the end of the first five months of 2020, amounting to 43.6 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia has grown by 25.6% to 8 thousand units.

Bus production, including microbuses, has increased by 9.2% during the aforementioned period, to 11.6 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia went up by 1.0% to 2 thousand units.
