Car production has decreased by 25% within the first 9 months of 2020

RusAutoNewsCom.- Car production in Russia has been decreased by 24.8% year-on-year within the first nine months of 2020. According to ASM Holding data 963 thousand units transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured within the January-September period of 2020.

Trucks output, including light trucks, has fallen by 17.4% by the end of the first nine months of 2020, amounting to 90.1 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia has decreased by 25.5% to 15.8 thousand units.

Light commercial vehicle production has also declined in the same period, by 19.8% to 67.5 thousand units.

Passenger car production has decreased by 25.7% year-on-year during the aforementioned period, to 850.4 thousand units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia went down by 27.0% to 608.4 thousand vehicles.

Bus production, including microbuses, has decreased by 16.4% during the aforementioned period, to 22.8 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia went down by 0.04% to 4.9 thousand units.
