In November 2019, sales of new MOTOR VEHICLES in Russia, based on registration data, fell by 6.2% year-on-year to 153 199 vehicles. In the first eleven months of 2019 the total sales were 1 576 261 vehicles, down 2.7% year-on-year, of which:
• Passenger cars – 134 781 units in November 2019, down 6.4% YOY; 1 391 333 units in January-November 2019, down 2.7 % YOY.
• Light commercial vehicles including light trucks (N1 category, without pickups) and minibuses (M2 category) – 8 865 units in November 2019, up 0.3% YOY; 91 868 units in January-November 2019, down 2.6% YOY.
• Pickups – 1 274 units in November 2019, down 3.0% YOY; 12 090 units in January-November 2019, down 4.9% YOY.
• Trucks (except N1 category), inclusive of special-purpose vehicles, – 7 097 units in November 2019, down 10.7% YOY; 68 779 units in January-November 2019, down 3.8% YOY.
• Buses (except М2 category) – 1 182 units in November 2019, down 2.2% YOY; 12 191 units in January-November 2019, up 6.5% YOY.
