RusAutoNewsCom.- Car production in Russia has been slightly increased within the first 9 months of 2019. According to ASM Holding data, 1,279,735 transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured within the January-September period of 2019, which is equivalent to a 0.7% year-on-year rise.
Passenger cars output has increased by 1.0% year-on-year during the aforementioned period, to 1.144 million units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia went down by 1.2% to 833.1 thousand vehicles.
LCV production has also grown in the same period, by 0.8% to 83,8 thousand units.
Truck output, including light trucks, has fallen by 0.1% by the end of the nine months of 2019, amounting to 109.1 thousand units. The production of foreign brand trucks in Russia has increased by 1.0% to 21,2 thousand units.
Bus production, including microbuses, has decreased by 9.1% during the aforementioned period, and amounted to 27 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia went down by 22.3% to 5 thousand units.
As stated by the Russian Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat), industrial production in Russia has risen 2.7% year-on-year within the January-September period of 2019.
