Car production in Russia has increased by 1% within the first half of 2019

RusAutoNewsCom.- Car production in Russia has been increased within the first six months of 2019. According to ASM Holding data, 868,395 transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured within the first half of 2019, which is equivalent to a 1.0% year-on-year rise.

Passenger cars production has increased by 7.2% year-on-year during the aforementioned period and amounted to 783.9 thousand units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia went down 0.1% to 569.3 thousand vehicles.

LCV production has declined by 3.8% in the same period, to 52.0 thousand units.

Truck output, including light trucks, has fallen by 4.4% by the end of the January-June period of 2019, amounting to 68,4 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia went down by 2.1% to 13,0 thousand units.

Bus production, including microbuses, has declined by 12.8% during the aforementioned period, to 16.2 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia went down by 38.0% to 2.7 thousand units.
